Prediction Atwoli Made

The Elgeyo Marakwet senator and former majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen has broken his silence on a prediction that the Central Organization of Trade Unions COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli made in May about the United States of America presidential election. In tweet on Saturday after leading media outlets declared Joe Biden the winner of the presidential race, the outspoken legislator reacted with laughing emojis at Atwoli’s prediction when he graced the Jeff Koinange Live show in May.
Mr Atwoli predicted wrongly that the person that the American people would elect as president in 2020 would be Donald Trump. It is the former vice president Joe Biden who has been elected the commander in chief. He managed to go beyond the 270 magic number to win the presidency.
Meanwhile, the incumbent President Donald Trump has baselessly claimed that the poll was marred by voter fraud. He has vowed to file cases in the courts to challenge the victory of his Democratic challenger. At least 1200 lawyers are said to be filing cases in different states on behalf of the Trump campaign.

It would be interesting to see how the courts will resolve the disputed presidential election outcome. Scores of legal experts have said that the Donald Trump campaign have little chance of overturning the election outcome. Mr Trump had demanded that the ballots that came late not be included in the final tally, saying that including such ballots would be illegal.
